Elgin Township is located in Kane County, Illinois. It is divided by the Fox River. As of the 2010 census, its population was 100,922 and it contained 35,690 housing units. According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 32.58 square miles, of which 31.94 square miles is land and 0.64 square miles is water.
