Yes, you can visit the restaurant without paying the museum. It's not the exact same place (restaurant is next to the museum building). The courtyard is definitely worth visiting. I have not eaten there (only has some drinks) but I've also heard that they serve good food. It's very near Rambla (at the end), so it's easy to go there. Have a nice meal!
