I am an artist and printmaker living in the Shetland Islands. I create original paintings and prints inspired by my environment. Subject matter includes wildlife, coastline, landscape and the weather. A keen gardener and animal lover, I never have to look far for inspiration. The original prints I make are linocuts and etchings. These are produced as small editions, all hand printed. I paint in watercolour or acrylic on canvas, as well as experimenting with mixed media pieces. These can be pencil, wax crayon and watercolour. Cards are available too. A member of Shetland Arts & Crafts Association, I welcome visitors to my studio where my work can be viewed and purchased, as well as via my website.
