After adjusting the left field dimensions at Oriole Park before the 2022 season, Baltimore will make alterations ahead of the 2025 campaign.

In 2021, the last season before the Orioles moved the left field wall back by 26 feet in some spots, and added six feet of height to a barrier affectionately termed “Walltimore,” Camden Yards was a hitter’s haven. It ranked No. 3 in Statcast’s Park Factors, with a 105 rating on a scale where 100 is neutral, and 124 – tied for second – in home runs.

Seeking a "happier medium," Orioles general manager Mike Elias said the team will adjust its left field wall again, bringing it closer in and reducing its height.

The Orioles are making changes to the left-field wall at Camden Yards once again. The Orioles last changed the dimensions of the left-field wall, moving it back, between the 2021 and 2022 seasons in an effort to pursue a more neutral and pitcher-friendly array at Camden Yards. At the time, Oriole Park was "extremely homer prone," as Elias put it.
