Milwaukee placed center fielder Garrett Mitchell on the 10-day injured list with a left oblique strained and called up Daz Cameron, the son of former Brewer Mike Cameron.

The Brewers two best defensive centerfielders, Mitchell and Perkins, are now on the IL. Daz Cameron, the son of longtime MLB centerfielder Mike Cameron, can play all three outfield spots, but the Brewers are not keen on playing Cameron in center.

The Brewers dropped to 1-4 on their current road trip after going 2 for 7 with runners in scoring position. Garrett Mitchell also left with an injury.
