The Reds won twice Saturday, June 7 at Great American Ball Park. The first time, it was in dramatic fashion as they walked-off the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 10th inning to complete Friday's series opener, which was suspended after six innings due to rain.

Almost a full day prior to Encarnacion-Strand achieving the club's first walk-off win of 2025, the teams played several innings in steady rain that appeared to increase in intensity as the Friday night portion of the contest wore on. The Reds trailed 3-0 but climbed back to tie the game in the sixth. That's when the tarp was rolled onto the field.

Gavin Lux hit a grand slam, Christian Encarnacion-Strand homered for the second straight game and the Cincinnati Reds routed the Arizona Diamondbacks 13-1 on Saturday after completing a suspended game with a 4-3 victory in 10 innings.

The Cincinnati Reds and Arizona Diamondbacks game was suspended because of rain after six innings and will be resumed Saturday.

After getting roughed up in Chicago last week, the Reds right-hander pitched a stellar six innings of just one-run baseball. He allowed just six hits and one walk and had six strikeouts, and 67 of Martinez's 102 pitches were for strikes.

The Cincinnati Reds must have been advised about what the Arizona Diamondbacks did the game before they arrived at Great American Ball Park.

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Ryne Nelson is back in the rotation with Corbin Burnes' season-ending injury. Friday's suspended game was completed.
