The Minnesota Twins have acquired infielder Kody Clemens from the Philadelphia Phillies. Clemens, the 28-year-old son of seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens, was designated for assignment by the Phillies on Wednesday.

Kody Clemens arrived in Minnesota on Saturday morning and was added to the Twins’ roster. He did not play in the game.

The Twins have acquired infielder Kody Clemens from the Phillies in exchange for cash considerations. To make room for Clemens, the Twins placed prospect Luke Keaschall on the 10-day injured list with a nondisplaced fracture in his right forearm.
