An American Airlines plane carrying 60 passengers and four crew members collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter outside Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C. Wednesday evening. Three soldiers were onboard the helicopter and a massive search and rescue operation is now unfolding in the Potomac River.

U.S. Figure Skating released a statement confirming some of their members were among the 64 people aboard the American Airlines flight that collided with an Army helicopter Wednesday night.

Trump offered no evidence that diversity hiring practices contributed to the fatal plane and helicopter collision.

Trump on Thursday criticized hiring practices of his predecessor that promoted diversity, equity and inclusion.

The president also blamed the Biden and Obama administrations for the overnight plane crash in Washington, D.C., where there have been no reported survivors.
