The LSU Tigers athletic director Scott Woodward announced on Sunday the team fired head coach Brian Kelly following the team's 49-25 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies.
The Inside Zone's Matt Fortuna reported that LSU athletic director Scott Woodward asked Kelly to fire Sloan in the wake of the A&M game. Things spiraled from there when Kelly suggested he'd get rid of offensive line coach Brad Davis as well.
LSU has four games remaining in the regular season, including Alabama in two weeks followed by matchups against Arkansas, Western Kentucky and Oklahoma. If the Tigers don't fire Kelly over their upcoming bye week, the final four games could determine his fate in Death Valley.
