A handful of Pittsburgh Steelers starters won't suit up for the team's preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers.

Aaron Rodgers won't play in the Steelers' preseason finale at the Panthers on Thursday, coach Mike Tomlin said.

"He practiced in team drills too," said coach Tomlin when asked about Heyward practicing in the individual portion of practice, which was open to the media. That statement proves that Heyward, who took part in all forms of practice, which was padded by the way, is back.

Steelers DT Cameron Heyward is reportedly still seeking a bigger payday despite returning to practice after a lengthy holdout.
