HOUSTON — Min Woo Lee chipped in for birdie to take the lead and then left Scottie Scheffler and everyone else in his wake Saturday with a 7-under 63, giving him a four-shot lead in the Houston Open as the Australian closes in on his first PGA Tour victory.

It is Lee’s first PGA Tour victory, finishing at 20-under-par, one shot ahead of Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland.

Scottie Scheffler opened with two straight birdies and was on his way Friday in the Houston Open, tying the Memorial Park record with an 8-under 62 for a one-shot lead when the second round was halted by darkness after a two-hour storm delay Friday.

The popular Aussie is in unfamiliar territory on the PGA Tour, leading by four shots heading into the final round of the 2025 Texas Children's Houston Open. He was a co-leader after 36 holes at the Players Championship two weeks ago but fell apart on the weekend. This time, he's got a comfortable cushion looking for his first PGA Tour win.
