The Steelers acquired safety Kyle Dugger via a trade with the New England Patriots, as well as a seventh-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Dugger was drafted by the Patriots in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the 37th overall pick.

Seven Colts starters did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 29, though all have a chance to play in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On Tuesday, the Steelers did make a trade to improve the offense when they traded for New England Patriots defensive back Kyle Dugger.
