Stellantis told TechCrunch it is sticking with its smart cockpit platform. Now, it seems Google’s Android-based system, which is used by numerous automakers, is headed to this future software platform.
The Stellantis ( NYSE: STLA) SmartCockpit project with Amazon ( NASDAQ: AMZN) appears to have fizzled out, according to Reuters, with the two companies “winding down” their joint project to create a vehicle that would mirror the environment at home.
