The Office of Chief Medical Examiner determined Sunshine Stewart's cause of death was strangulation and blunt force trauma, state police said.

Close friends of Sunshine Stewart are sharing new details about her final days as a homicide investigation into her death continues. Stewart was found dead around 1 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, on Crawford Pond in Union.

Loved ones of Stewart are calling on people in the area to review any photos or videos taken near Crawford Pond around the Fourth of July weekend.
