A woman has been hospitalized after a plane needed to make an emergency landing at a California park and crashed into the unsuspecting pedestrian, authorities said.

The Long Beach Fire Department said the plane crashed at around 4 p.m. in Heartwell Park. Firefighters helped an elderly man out of the plane and took him to the hospital. Parademics also took a pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, to the hospital. Both were in moderate but stable condition.
