Maddie Brown of Brighton was the only Livingston County overall winner in three races Thursday at the Hungry Duck Run in Brighton. Brown won the women’s 5-kilometer run in 18 minutes, 58 seconds.
The pressure of competing on a high-caliber cross country team became a little too much, but Aidan Bustillo of Brighton wanted to keep getting the most out of himself as a runner after high school.
