U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has shared a map of the United States, showing the whole Canada as part of the country. Trump posted the map on his social media platform, Truth Social.

From the 1950s until 2022, this riding flipped back and forth between Liberals and Progressive Conservatives. Last elections, the NDP won it for the first time by about 900 votes.
