Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang will announce the nominations for the 97th annual Academy Awards. The announcement will take place starting at 5:30 a.m. PT on Thursday in a live presentation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

After a delay due to the L.A. wildfires, the 2025 Oscar nominations are set to go with Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang to announce the nominees.

Originally, the Oscar nomination ceremony was scheduled for January 17. However, due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, it was first postponed to January 19 and later rescheduled to January 23.
