Toronto goes green as St. Patrick's Day Parade set for Sunday
Torontonians will be seeing a lot of green this weekend. The 36th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set to take place rain or shine beginning at noon on Sunday. The parade will move east along Bloor St. W. from St. George St. to Yonge St. before the procession continues south along Yonge St. to Dundas St.

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Toronto: A parade, a run, music and green beer
Since 1978, the annual Martian Awareness Ball has been celebrated on St. Patrick’s Day. Held at the Horseshoe Tavern, a collection of musicians will be singing traditional Irish songs, green songs, and space songs to honour Martian Awareness. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and there is a $20 cover charge.
