Belmont Stakes will bring the third and final event of horse racing’s Triple Crown to Saratoga Race Course on Saturday for a battle of Kentucky Derby and Preakness winners.

This is shaping up to be a very intriguing race at Belmont Park. First, you have the return of Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty, who purposely skipped the Preakness Stakes in order to “better prepare” for the Belmont Stakes. Though he has been out of the action, Sovereignty still is one of the favorites to win the race.
