A woman who won a civil case against Conor McGregor is to sue him and two other people for damages alleging they engaged in malicious abuse of court processes. In November, McGregor was ordered to pay £206,000 in damages plus costs to Nikita Hand, who accused him of raping her in a hotel in Dublin in 2018.

Mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor has lost his legal appeal against a civil court's finding that he sexually assaulted a woman at a Dublin hotel.

Nikita Hand accused McGregor, 37, of rape on December 9, 2018. In the trial that ended in November 2024, the Irish UFC star was ordered to pay her about 206,000 euros in restitution. At the time, he maintained his innocence, referring to their encounter as “fully consensual sex." He also denied causing her any bruising.
