Mark Pope, in his second season with the Kentucky Wildcats, helped his team secure a 19-12 overall record, including 10-8 in SEC play, earning the No. 9 seed in the conference tournament. Now, Pope and the Wildcats will look toward the 2026 NCAA Tournament,

The USC Trojans landed a huge commitment on Wednesday in class of 2026 recruit, 5-star guard Christian Collins.

The Huskies, the eventual national champs, defeated Heckel and USC 78-64 in the Elite Eight in Spokane last year. Heckel finished with five points and one rebound in 19 minutes off the bench. It was her first time playing on the sport's biggest stage, the NCAA Tournament.

The USC Trojans earned the No. 9 seed in Regional 4 and will face off against the No. 8-seeded Clemson Tigers in the opening round.

The 2025-2026 season did not go according to plan for the Trojans, but that has not slowed them down on the recruiting trail
