Gulf Arab states reported new missile and drone attacks on Sunday after Iran threatened to widen its campaign and further expand the war with the United States and Israel, now in its third week.

The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Saturday urged its ally Iran to cease attacks on neighbouring Gulf states. In a statement, the group said Tehran had the right to respond to attacks by Israel

The United States says it has crippled Iran’s navy, destroying 30 vessels, including a submarine. The American military used a submarine to fire a torpedo and sink an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean and also struck an Iranian drone carrier ship.
