When the ball gets kicked off the center circle of Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, the United States will go down in history as the first host of the most important soccer tournament created this century.

After more than a year of uncertainty and criticism, the Club World Cup kicked off in Miami on Saturday and soccer may never be the same.

The 32-team global competition to be played in the U.S. includes six games at the Rose Bowl – and two with UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.
