Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly unhappy with the franchise’s decision to waive Damian Lillard, a move made to clear cap space for the signing of free agent center Myles Turner.

The Bucks made that space happen by waiving and stretching the $113 million left on Lillard's contract as he heals up from the torn Achilles he suffered during the 2025 NBA Playoffs. While this was an aggressive move to help the Bucks build a contender around Giannis for next season, the Greek forward's reaction will worry them.
