Caroline Kennedy, former US ambassador to Australia and Japan, has written to US lawmakers to express her concerns about her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has been nominated by President Donald Trump to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Caroline Kennedy wrote a letter to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions strongly discouraging them from confirming her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as U.S. Department of Health and Human Services secretary.
