On Jan. 19, at approximately 8:33 p.m., Waterbury Police Department officers patrolling the Willow Street and Hillside Avenue area spotted a parked 2019 Nissan Altima, previously reported stolen from Manchester.

Waterbury police said they found a Nissan Altima reported stolen out of Manchester on Willow Street Sunday evening, and arrested George Johnson, 61.

Waterbury police arrested a Hartford man for allegedly stealing a vehicle. Police said officers were patrolling the area of Willow Street and Hillside Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday when they spotted a stolen 2019 Nissan Altima from Manchester.

They learned that the vehicle had been stolen from Manchester. It was parked in the area of 130 Willow St., and someone was in it at the time. The driver, Johnson, was apprehended
