Sony Pictures is all set to release its upcoming Anaconda reboot, which will hit theaters on December 25. The film takes a different route from the original survival horror and adds a comedic twist with stars Jack Black and Paul Rudd. The cast also features Thandiwe Newton, Steve Zahn, Selton Mello, Daniela Melchior, and Ione Skye.

Rudd and Black will reportedly play fading figures from Hollywood, whilst Zahn – who starred as Mark Mossbacher in the first season of The White Lotus – and Newton will play their childhood friends. Mello will play an animal wrangler, whilst Skye will play the wife of Black’s character.
