Miami Heat forward Jaime Jaquez is participating in NBA All-Star Weekend for a second straight year. On Tuesday, the league awarded him a roster spot for the Rising Stars Challenge. Last year he competed in the game that showcases the top rookies and second-year players.

Last year, in front of their hometown fans, the Indiana Pacers won the Skills Challenge. A trio of Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, and Myles Turner beat the first-overall picks (Paolo Banchero, VIctor Wembanyama, Anthony Edwards ), and a case of young All-Stars ( Trae Young, Scottie Barnes, Tyrese Maxey).

Jackson will be joining rookies Stephon Castle and Matas Buzelis in the All-Star Weekend spectacle. The Bucks' 23-year old has started 32 games for coach Doc Rivers this season and plays 17.3 minutes per game. While his numbers don't stand out, he provides a strong defensive impact and is the best athlete on the team, excluding Antetokounmpo.
