Kickoff between the Miami Hurricanes and SMU Mustangs is scheduled for noon Saturday from Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

Per Bill Connelly and the SP+ the Hurricanes are 11th in the country while SMU is 42nd. Miami is 16th on offense, 14th on defense and 13th in kicking. SMU is 44th on offense, 44th on defense and 87th in kicking.

The No. 9 Miami Hurricanes visit the SMU Mustangs Saturday for an ACC contest in Dallas, Texas. Kickoff is set for noon, ET.

Miami listed wide receiver CJ Daniels, cornerback OJ Frederique and defensive tackle Ahmad Moran Sr. as questionable for the game vs. the Mustangs.

South Carolina nearly pulled off a massive upset last week against Alabama, but a late collapse in the fourth quarter halted those hopes. The Gamecocks get another crack at it this week against an Ole Miss squad that's one of the more noteworthy teams in the nation right now for a variety of reasons.

This will be the second meeting all-time between these two schools

Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports reported Friday that the Mustangs and Lashlee "are finalizing" a two-year contract extension that will make him one of the 10 highest-paid coaches in the country. The development is notable since Dellenger pointed out he "fielded interest from other jobs."

The Mustangs are talented but haven't lived up to their potential after reaching the College Football Playoff last season. A win on Saturday changes everything and puts SMU in the mix for a spot in the ACC Championship Game. Remember, two of SMU's three losses are out of conference to Baylor and TCU.
