An appeals court recently ruled that two federal agency board members, Merit Systems Protection Board member Cathy Harris and National Labor Relations Board member Gwynne Wilcox, will be reinstated after being fired by President Donald Trump.

Less than two weeks after the Supreme Court allowed President Donald Trump to use a controversial 18th century wartime authority to speed deportations, the issue has rocketed back to the justices in a second short-fuse appeal with enormous potential consequences.

The Supreme Court blocked Donald Trump’s administration from another round of deportations under the Alien Enemies Act in the early hours of Saturday.
