Audi is strengthening the Q4 e-tron model lineup by adding a new entry-level variant. The fully electric premium model offers extensive standard equipment, a range of up to 258 miles, and DC charging power of 165kW.

Equipped with a 59kWh (usable capacity) battery, the Q4 e-tron 40 offers an official range of up to 263 miles in Sportback guise, up from the 212 miles that the 35 model could achieve with its 52kWh battery. That figure is cut slightly if you opt for the SUV, but only by seven miles.

The Q4 e-tron is Audi’s best-selling EV, with almost 108,000 finding buyers in 2024 – and now there’s a new base variant coming called the 40 that aims to further extend the appeal of the firm’s entry-level electric car.
