These teams enter Week 9 with great matchups and high projections. We expect Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, and many others to have a Fantasy Football field day.
A.J. Brown was ruled out for the Week 8 clash with the New York Giants due to a hamstring injury. It's less-than-ideal news for fantasy football players, who already have to deal with bye weeks for Amon-Ra St. Brown, Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Brian Thomas Jr.
The Browns' No. 2 wide receiver strained his hamstring in Week 4. He was placed on injured reserve shortly thereafter and will miss at least four games. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said he expects Tillman to return following the team's Week 9 bye.
Brock Purdy may be close to returning to the San Francisco 49ers, but it doesn't seem like it will be this week against the Houston Texans. 49ers general manager John Lynch said on Thursday that a timeline is still TBD, but that the team is encouraged by Purdy's progress.
Mac Jones, Sam Darnold and Trevor Lawrence are among the potential pickups to replace Jackson in Week 6. Baltimore has a Week 7 bye and there's a chance Jackson returns for the Week 8 clash with the Chicago Bears, but that is still to be determined.
