Brian Kelly and Co. continue the program's slide in 2025, drop third game of the season on Saturday in Baton Rouge.

Kelly, who was in his fourth season at LSU, had a 34-14 record with the Tigers, putting together consistently competitive teams but never reaching the heights of being a championship contender. LSU hired Kelly in 2021 after he posted a 92–39 over 12 seasons at Notre Dame.

While negotiations are still ongoing between both parties, Kelly's contractual buyout of more than $50 million would be the second largest ever paid to a college football coach -- behind only Jimbo Fisher, who received more than $76 million after being fired by Texas A&M in November 2023.
