McKellen, 86, teased Lord of the Rings fans at the For the Love of Fantasy fan event in London on Sunday, Aug. 17, when he suggested that he and Elijah Wood will reprise their beloved roles as Gandalf and Frodo in Andy Serkis ' upcoming movie The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum.

"I'll tell you two secrets about the casting," the veteran actor teased the crowd about The Hunt for Gollum, which is being directed by Andy Serkis, who plays the eponymous One Ring-obsessed cave-dweller. "There's a character in the movie called Frodo, and there's a character in the movie called Gandalf. Apart from that, my lips are sealed!"

A major Lord of the Rings star is reprising his role with Sir Ian McKellen's Gandalf in the upcoming Hunt for Gollum movie.
