Daniel Hans Sedin (born 26 September 1980) is a Swedish ice hockey executive and former winger who played his entire 17-season National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Vancouver Canucks from 2000 to 2018.

Henrik and Daniel Sedin are identical twins that were born in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, 6 minutes apart from each other. They began playing hockey at the age of 8 and by the time they were 16 they were playing professionally with Modo of the Swedish Elite League.

Daniel’s best individual season came in 2010-11, leading the NHL in scoring with 41 goals and 104 points to claim the Art Ross Trophy and received the Ted Lindsay Award as the NHL’s most outstanding player as judged by his peers.
