Oct 5, 2020 · Polaris batteries are garbage, mine made it about 18 months and had a buddy who's didn't even make it a year. I replaced mine with a odyssey extreme pc925 and it cranks so much faster and no issues running a winch and led lights. It was a little pricey but beats a dead battery once a year.

We have tried all kinds over the last 25 years. We have stuck with Mules. Polaris is toward the bottom of the heap, IMO.

During Covid, bought one of the Yanmar Brahma diesel side by sides. Payload of 1000 lbs. All steel cargo box. Won’t go faster than 25 mph. Been a tank so far but only available in a 2 seater.

In fact, Polaris had issues with the trailboss 325 where the main bearings were not placed properly in the engine and many buyers ended up with blown engines. Obviously a factory defect but Polaris wanted dealers to shoulder the cost 100%. My dealership had several of the affected machines still new in the crate.
