I started my planarian culture with 2 individuals caught in the wild. I knew that planarians were one of a kind for their abilities to regrow a whole individual from virtually nothing. The planarian culture media is spring water mixed with some algae. The water is replaced once a week, during feeding sessions. Planarians eat decaying material in the wild- in my work bench, they can eat beef liver or egg yolks! I cut them in half roughly every 3 weeks with a clean scalpel. I’m excited how large I
