Parents of seven young girls who were lost in the floods at Camp Mystic in Texas sit down with TODAY’s Jenna Bush Hager for an emotional conversation about love and loss, and how they're dealing with the unimaginable grief and pain. They also open up about how they're honoring their daughters by working to ensure the prevention of other similar tragedies. “It became very, very clear that this wasn’t an accident. This was complacency, and it is 100% preventable,” said Lila’s father, Blake Bonner.

Fletcher Cordell had a bubbly and brilliant 11 year old daughter at Camp Mystic the night of the Catastrophic floods. Camp Mystic sent an email to parents suggesting that if you have not received a call, your daughter has been accounted for. However, if you had received a call, they are still actively searching for your daughter. He had yet to get a call from the camp, until his phone rings and his wife, Molly, answers it on speaker with tears in her eyes… A painful, yet healing conversation. Fu
