Here’s a fighter with a real bite. The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk you see here wears the markings of the Republic of China Air Force, made famous by the Flying Tigers. Before America officially entered World War II, volunteer pilots flew these aircraft in defense of China, taking on Japanese bombers and fighters in daring low-level battles.
