Happy World Giraffe Day You might know us best for our work to protect elephants but many of our conservation projects directly impact the lives of Kenya’s giraffes. On Amu Ranch and in Tsavo, we work with our partners to protect important giraffe habitats, across Kenya the SWT/KWS Mobile Vet Units treat injured individuals and the SWT/KWS De-Snaring Teams confiscate thousands of snares a year, laid to main and kills animals for bushmeat including giraffes.
