Camellia 'Yuletide' is an evergreen shrub with dense, glossy green leaves. It has bright red flowers with yellow stamens and can reach 4m tall. In Australia this variety of camellia flowers from March to July, but in the northern hemisphere, it flowers in the Christmas season, hence its name. It prefers a sunny to part shade position in rich well-drained soil. Water regularly in warmer months. Camellias are perfect for hedging, or as a feature plant. These would look especially good in pots too!
