On This Day in Alamo History – February 28, 1836 Throughout the sixth day of the siege, the Alamo endures prolonged cannonade from Santa Anna’s forces. The Texans have yet to lose a man. The Alamo is celebrating the generous loan of David Crockett’s last letter penned in Tennessee, which will be on display starting tomorrow in the Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Center.
