November 10, 1984: On this day 40 years ago, the Maryland Terrapins pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in college football history by defeating the #6 Miami Hurricanes 42-40 in front of 31,548 fans at the Orange Bowl.Trailing 31-0 at halftime, backup quarterback Frank Reich replaced starter Stan Gelbaugh and led Maryland to 6 second half touchdowns.
