Harlequin lady beetles are not “native” ladybugs, but I do not try and remove them from my garden. They are feasting on the white fly infestation I have going and making babies. I have never introduced store bought lady beetles (they are part of the beetle family and therefore beetle is a more apt term than bug) into my yard/garden.
