#Buimo Correctional Facility in Lae, Morobe Province, one of Papua New Guinea’s largest prisons, is under severe strain due to chronic overcrowding and ageing infrastructure. Conditions inside the facility have deteriorated to a critical level, placing inmates, officers, and public health at risk. Inmates are now calling for urgent help.
